Frosty Snow Girl Enchantrress

There's a brand new challenge starting today at
Lacy Sunshine!

Since I've been working real hard on getting ready for Christmas,
this seemed like the perfect time to make a nice little gift box.
Ok, so I didn't actually make the box, I actually found it at
a local thrift store, and fixed it up.

I used Lacy Sunshine Frosty Snow Girl Enchantress
for my focal point on my gift box.

I used a snowflake border die, and individual snowflake dies.
I used some pretty glittered paper for my snowflakes.
I also added some little crystals to the center of my snowflakes
for a little extra sparkle.
And since I do love sparkle and glitter, I added a little bit more glitter for
the snow under my Frosty little Enchantress' feet.
The more glitter and sparkle, the better!

Hope you'll stop by and check out the other fabulous makes from
the Lacy Sunshine Design Team.
And maybe join us in our new challenges while you're there.

Eleanor & Pickles Lighting Fun

I am really excited to share my latest make.
I am getting ready for the Christmas season, because Christmas
is my most favorite time of the year!

I decided my desk needed a little Christmas cheer,
so I thought a new pen/pencil holder would do the trick!

I started with a plain wooden pencil/pen holder that I picked up
from my local Thrift Shop.

It really doesn't look like much, does it?
A can of black spray paint can do wonders!

I added some layers for my Eleanor & Pickles image.
Cute, huh??
Then I added a small poinsettia from a die, and some
lovely Christmas lights, also from a die.

I covered the whole image with Modge Podge to protect it.
Now my desk is ready for Christmas!

Hope you'll check out the challenge going on over at the Lacy Sunshing Blog.

I used a fun die to frame this sweet stamp.
I added some frontage and glitter for my snow.

I went with some natural colors.
Browns, Reds, and Greens.

I used this fabulous Lacy Sunshine Rory Candy Canes image.

I used some Bo Bunny paper and a couple of dies.
I tried to make one of the dies into a snow globe.
I added trees and a deer die cut to my snow globe.
I also added some frontage and glitter and covered it all in Glossy Accents.
I also added a few pearls for accent.
I used some gold glittered paper for my "Noel" die.
I also added some Tim Holtz Bronze stain to the outer edges.

Sweet Girly Card

I hope that everyone is doing well.
First, I want to say that our thoughts and prayers go out to Paris
in this devastating time of theirs.
I do hope that they will find some peace in the upcoming days.

I decided to do a little de-stressing today, and decided to make
an early birthday card.

I love this cute little Saturated Canary stamp.
She is just adorable!
I used some pretty pink glittered paper and some gingham and rose
papers from Lost and Found.
I added a few pink and white flowers, some lace, and a few extra pearls.
I also added some glitter to the tulle of her dress and the rosette in her hair.
I used some Glossy Accents on the heart in the rosette.
I also added some beautiful frontage.

White Cloud Kachina Dancer

Today is a Super Exciting Sunday for me!
I get to share some pretty exciting news for me!
I am super honored to announce that starting today,
I am a Lacy Sunshine Sunshine Girl!
I will be on the Lacy Sunshine Design Team.
I'm still in shock, and just can't believe it!!
WOOHOO!!!

With Thanksgiving coming up, what better to get ready for it than Indians.

For my first project for Lacy Sunshine, I got the privilege of using this great stamp called White Cloud Kachina Dancer.
White Cloud Kachina Dancers were said to represent the
clouds and bring moisture the crops.

I decided to make a gift set for my project.
A greeting card and a candle.

I kept the card simple to keep the focus on the image.
I thought white and blue would be the perfect colors for my
I added a pretty blue feather, and a concho looking brad.

The candle was super easy to make.
1.  Print out your image on copy paper
2. Cut out and tape tissue paper over top of the first printed image.
3.  Print the image out again.
4.  Color the tissue paper image with your markers.
5.  Cut around the tissue papered image.
6.  Apply the colored tissue papered image to your candle with a heating tool.
Gradually heat the tissue papered image until the tissue paper disappears into the candle.  Be careful not to heat too long in one area, or the candle will melt.
Just gradually cover the entire area, and repeat as necessary.

See? Super easy, right??

Hope you will check out the other Lacy Sunshine Creative Design Team members projects because they are fabulous!!
And check out the Lacy Sunshine Facebook page!
