It's Birthday Time!

Hope everyone is having a great day today!
I know I personally can't wait for the weekend!

I did get to make a cute birthday card today that I wanted to share.

I got to use this fabulous Wild Rose Studio stamp that I
got for a Christmas present.
Their stamps are so sweet!

I used a sketch from MOJO Monday for my layout.

This is such a great sketch!

I used some pretty brightly colored papers.
I used a couple of glittery papers.
I love the one with the birthday hats on it.

I used some bright mini buttons  and some cute ribbon to accent with.

Bugaboo Birthday Celbration Day 6

Today is Day 6 of Bugaboo's Catch the Bug's Birthday Celebration challenges.
The challenge for today is to make a birthday project for a kid.

I made this birthday card for a very special little girl in my family.

I absolutely love this cute little Bugaboo image!!
I colored it in her favorite colors and added a little bit of glitter.
I tried to make it look a little like the ombre look.
I little darker at the bottom, getting lighter towards the top.

I used some fun paper with a lot of numbers on it for a festive look.
And since I wanted the main focus to be on the stamp (because shed loves pigs), I tried to keep the rest of the card simple.

Hope you will check out Bugaboo's stamps and Catch the Bug's challenges.

Bugaboo Birthday Celebration Day 7

It's finally Friday!!!  Woohoo!!
It's Freebie Friday over at Bugaboo stamps today!
I am out of town, so I can't print out the new stamp
to enter this challenge with.

http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.com/2014/01/bugaboo-is-turning-fourcome-celebrate.html

So, I decided to go with one of my birthday favorites from
Bugaboo that I had already printed out.
I have really been into making gift tags here lately.
I think it really adds such a nice touch to a gift.

I some really pretty papers from DCWV.
I used my favorite lace edged stamp for the top.
I added 4 purple crystals.
(Since it is Bugaboo's 4th birthday, today's challenge is to add 4 of something)
And of course I topped it all of with some fabulously colored fibers.

Please take a minute to check them out over at Bugaboo stamps
and Catch the Bug Challenges.

Fluffy!

Are you ready for some snow?
Ok, not outside, just on my card.

Craftitude is having an ANYTHING GOES challenge this week.
I see fluffy. . .

We are being sponsored this week by

Delicious Doodles Shop

I know it's after Christmas, but I thought I would go ahead and get started on next year's Christmas cards.  Delicious Doodles has some great designs for traditional Christmas cards (as well as some more unusual ones).

I left most of it white, and colored just pieces of it for spotlight.

I used glitter pens to color the star and ornaments on the tree,
and my copics to color the cardinal.

I added a lot of glitter and white flower soft for the snow everywhere.

I hope you all will join us over at Craftitude this week.

Bugaboo Birthday Celebration Day 5

Humor Me Wednesday!
Everyone loves a good funny card.  Right??
Well, at least I do.  And apparently so does Catch the Bug.

Their challenge for Day 5 of their Birthday Celebration is
Humor Me Wednesday!

I just love this cute little old lady stamp! She is just so cute!!

I went with some funky paper I had, colored her in bright pink, with
a couple of chocolate bars, and added the sentiment
"Let the Good Times Roll..."
Doesn't she just look she's on a roll!?

Please take a look at the great inspiration they have over at Catch the Bug

have the participants.  There are a lot of great projects!

Bugaboo Birthday Celebration Day 4

Bling It On!

Day 4 of the Catch the Bug Birthday Celebration is Bling It On!
How cool is that?!

It's also new release Tuesday at the Bugaboo Store and this
little beauty is just darling.

I colored her up and I'm a little disappointed you can't see it in the
picture, but I added some spray glitter to the balloon.
Oh well, it looks really pretty in person. LOL!

I added some cool purple zebra patterned ribbon for another splash of color.

I hope that you will join them over at Catch the Bug this week for the rest of their challenges.  And while you're there, check out their blog hop!

The Glittering 20's

Good Saturday Morning everyone!
It is super cold outside, so a perfect day for crafting inside.
Of course any day is a great day for crafting!

I found this adorable image on the Lacy Sunshine website that I
just had to have.  She's called 1920's Curly Sue's.
I just couldn't wait to make something with her.

I used some fabulous DCWV paper from the All Dressed Up stack.
Black and silver with glitter.  Perfect!

I added some pretty white venetian lace that I used a stamp pad to color silver.
Then I added some silver glittery ribbon on top of it.
I had to add a pretty silvery gray flower and some crystals
for a nice romantic look.

I added some chunky silver glitter for the big silver parts on the dress,
and some fine silver glitter for the small silver dots on the dress and hat.
I also added a little silver glitter around the brooch on her hat.
I added white glitter on the white areas on her dress.

If you seen my projects before, you know I love glitter and sparkle!

To top it all off, I added some fabulous fibers and ribbons.
Some with sparkle and some without.
